Garden Square at Westlake Life Enrichment is tailored to meet individual needs and desires. Residents are encouraged to participate in daily activities and outings that range from spelling bees to over-night trips. We have even traveled to Winter Park to enjoy a thrilling dog sled ride!
Check out our activities calendar and you’ll agree that opportunities abound like nowhere else.
Garden Square at Westlake is proud to announce that our very own Life Enrichment Coordinator is also a corporate trainer; training numerous assisted living activity directors from across the United States at other Ridgeline Management communities. Senior-appropriate exercise and standing balance training is the focus of this signature program.
At Garden Square at Westlake, our residents have the opportunity to participate in standing balance training four times per week. Studies have shown the benefits of physical exercise exponentially increase as we age and balance issues are the cause of many age-related falls. Therefore, we are committed to making a difference in elder strength.
Joy, Independence, Wellness, spell out the foundation of this staff recognition program. At Garden Square at Westlake, we believe that our staff members make the difference. That difference is evident as we embrace our mission of: creating environments where moments of joy, independence and wellness are the focus each and every day. It is our desire to recognize the efforts of our dedicated staff. Residents, family members, and employees are encouraged to report random acts of kindness and exceptional service as we strive to make Garden Square at Westlake a community where staff members exceed all expectations.
