The reason we chose and continue to reside mom at Garden Square is because of the staff. The managers are caring, helpful, and well-trained.  It is also a blessing to have the managers that have been long-term at Garden Square.  While mistakes are made (don't know of anyone that is perfect) they are addressed and corrected.  The rest of the staff also are caring, helpful, and well-trained.  Everyone does seem to care and love the residents.  Thank you to the staff for the job that you perform. When Joann and I were looking, we first looked at the Garden Square by Centennial. The staff there was so helpful and friendly. They told us about your facility which we visited. The staff was all very friendly and the facility was clean.  We checked out the activities and the services offered and felt that it would be a good fit for Myrtle. We liked the floor plan of the rooms. The fact that you have Bible Studies and Sunday services impressed us. I am thankful that you have people in to offer entertainment.  We checked the menu and found it satisfactory.  Myrtle likes meat and potato and gravy type of meals and isn't fond of ethnic type meals. She has been pleased. Thank you for your care for Myrtle, and the love and attention you show her. We have been so happy with the way you and your staff have respected our wishes and have done what you can to accommodate her and us. You are very appreciated and loved!!! -Family Member

My dad, Arlyn, was a resident at Garden Square several years ago, before he passed. We were impressed then with the quality of the staff; how clean the bulding was; and the reasonable cost. My mother came to live at Garden Square because of this experience. What was amazing to me was that some of the same employees that were there when my dad lived there, were still there when my mother moved in. That says something because if they weren't good employees they wouldn't still be there.  It also says that Garden Square must be a pretty good place to work.

We decided to move Bill's mother from where she was living in assisted living in New Jersey to Garden Sqaure because of my dad's experience, too.  She has really improved since she came to Garden Square.  We think Garden Square staff is nice, friendly and competent.  John, the maintenance man is really accommodating about getting things reparied. -Family Member

I chose Garden Square for mom because of a friendthat had lived there a few years ago.  When I went to visit her I liked the brightness of the building.  All the light that came into the building.  I liked the friendliness of the staff.  It's actually the only assisted living I had ever visited.  I had been in a few nursing homes which weren't comfortable to me. It was close to where we live. I liked the apartment we chose for mom. -Family Member

Nobody likes to have to move from their home, but when my wife and I decided it was time to move, we chose Garden Square. I am very happy that we made that choice. At Garden Square, the employees work very hard to make my life very comfortable. They try to keep me involved; in fact, I help with the flower pots and plants. Doing little jobs around the Square helps me feel good about myself. Any time I have a request, the employees are very kind and gracious about doing it for me. I feel that they treat me like gold. Would I like to be in my home, yes, but for this time in my life, Garden Square has now become my home.   -Willie Archibeque II

Garden Square at Westlake is a wonderful assisted living facility with a friendly and caring staff. Our mother enjoys the many activities and friendships which gives Garden Square an "at home" feel. We are secure knowing mom is safe, happy and able to enjoy a healthy quality of life.   -Jim W.

I have lived at Garden Square at Westlake for three years. I like the home atmosphere here. The staff treats everyone very nicely and you can talk to any of them anytime. There are so many activities to choose from and it's a small enough place that you easily get acquainted with employees, residents and staff.   -Doris M.
